What is Legacy Work?

Legacy work is a way of memorializing our deceased loved ones in a way that feels meaningful and respectful. Our loved ones don’t always leave detailed instructions about how they want to be remembered. Whether there wasn’t enough time or it was just too hard to talk about, there are often unanswered questions after someone dies.

How can you help?

Along with the emotions that come with grief are the more practical questions. Namely, what are we going to do with all this stuff? Legacy work is more than just going through the closets, trying to decide what to keep and what to give away. My experience as a bereavement specialist can give you the support and guidance to make these tasks a little easier.

How does it work?

After a brief consult call, we’ll set up a time for me to come to your home (or the home of the deceased) and begin. We might go through specific rooms or work on a creative way to display your memories. My goal is to help you decide what will be most helpful to you in your grieving process.

Where do we start?

Let’s schedule a consult call. In this 10-15 minute phone call we can talk about your specific needs and how you want to start. You can contact me via phone or email; check out the contact page on this site for details.
